From Scans to Smile: A Day in the Life of a Digital Case
Walk through what actually happens between intraoral scan and delivered final — and where most workflows leak time.
8:30 AM — the scan
The patient is scanned in under ten minutes. The file uploads to our workflow before they leave the chair. The designer is notified the moment the case lands.
9:15 AM — case intake
The designer reviews the scan, photos, and prescription. If anything looks off, the call goes back to the doctor before modeling starts. One five-minute conversation prevents a day of rework.
By 4:00 PM — first iteration
Initial design is back the same day for most single-arch cases. Full-arch designs follow the next morning. The doctor reviews, redlines, and the designer turns revisions inside an hour.
Day 3 — final delivery
Approved design moves to finals. Premium ART OF ARCHES finishing, quality-checked, packaged, and delivered. The patient is seated within the week the case started.
